DOD/DOW Interim Guidance dated 20 August 2025 HAS BEEN RESCINDED!
a/o writing this post, I am waiting the official memo and will post it once I can get my hands on it.
Important info regarding retro pay: the services will be amending all approval memos and this WILL take time. Army has processed approx 3,500 claims under the Interim Guidance rules and will be working through ALL claims going back to 2007, which is well over 15,000 to ensure they're all properly amended. According to my source, Army is down to ONE CRSC Analyst and DOW is NOT allowing them or any other branches to hire anyone to fill their empty slots.
I beg you all to PLEASE BE PATIENT.
