    CRSC Army to Air Force

Hello. I'm about to apply for CRSC and just curious if anyone who switched branches of service ever ran into any hiccups. All combat deployment history is from my time in the Army. Eventually switched to the Air Force and was medically retired. As a result, all of my CRSC substantiation will...

Sir, that's exactly the info I was looking for! Much appreciated!

    Help with estimate, please!

Hello everyone. I was recently permanently medically retired (100% DoD, 100% VA P&T) at about 16 years active duty service (plus 2 reserve) and am apparently too dumb to fully understand how CRSC works. I’m about to apply so will find out soon enough, but hoping someone can walk the dog on this...

    COMPLETED MEB TIMELINE

Mine came via e-mail from my PEBLO. No MyFSS e-mail for me.

    COMPLETED MEB TIMELINE

Did you receive any alerts (like an e-mail notification or a call from your PEBLO) that your orders had been uploaded into PRDA, or did you just keep checking PRDA until they magically appeared? I'm right behind you so hopefully I'll get mine soon!

If it makes you feel any better, our PEB timeline is nearly identical and I’m waiting as well.

    C&P Exam Reschedule

Do they into the far off request to be input? Or else whether they do or not?

    C&P Exam Reschedule

VES called me on a Thursday to let me know they had to reschedule one of my appointments. The following Monday (so about 4 days later), I received another call with the new appointment date/time. If it's been 2 weeks, I'd recommend giving them a call.

FL4 IRILO Only Lists Mental Health – What About Myasthenia Gravis?

You're correct that, as of right now, the PEB only intends on considering mental health. However, you're going to get another bite at the apple. During your VA appointment for MG, you need to explain to the examiner how this condition is impacting your ability to do your job. Once your exam...

    IRILO Timeline

According to DAFMAN 48-108, para. 2.4.4, they’re supposed to render a decision within 10 calendar days. Of course, that’s probably just aspirational and can fluctuate depending on current throughput, and there’s probably no forcing function to hold them to it…

Joel, Thank you very much for the reply and helpful information.

    Standards for Referral to DES

Forgive me if this subject has been discussed before, but I couldn’t find anything on point and I’m hoping to get some insights from anyone with knowledge on the subject. DoDI 1332.18, Disability Evaluation System (DES), is the instruction that mandates policy/procedures for the respective...

    Help needed!

I don’t want to speak for chaplaincharlie, but I believe he’s referencing the presumption that an injury was service-connected or exacerbated by service after 8 years. In your case, however, it sounds like they did, in fact, find it service-related, but what you’re saying is that it was not...

    Dilated Thoracic Aorta

Just to elaborate for the benefit of anyone else going through this... the long and short of it is "it depends..." It's absolutely not an automatic disqualifier, but a lot of it depends on your branch of service, job, and rank. For example, an Army infantryman will have a harder time staying in...
