A heads up for the folks that are in the process, nearing the end. Get your DD214 submitted to the VA as soon as you can. Your PEB VA Findings will be resubmitted as a new claim on your actual retirement date if they have your DD214. Timeline as follows for me from that point: 2/29/2024-...

Thanks, yeah I don’t have a second claim yet, so I think that may be why the confusion. I called and was told that the QuickSubmit tool doesn’t always work, but he gave me the fax so I sent it off. Really I’m just trying to get it in ASAP so that there won’t be any delay in the payments starting.

Just woke up to find my DD214 had been sent to me. Question for the group: I know that the DD214 has to be uploaded into VA.gov, yet, I'm really struggling in finding where that is. Anyone know?

I had a buddy that checked out of post the same day as me. He already had his DD214, but I'm not sure how that happened. He went through the full FPEB process as well before getting out.
