Hello,
I am an AF Reservist found unfit for duty March 2023
My unit has dragged my MEB out for almost 3 years now. My commander is doing my IRILO, which I don't believe should be the case.
They had me retrieve all of my civilian records, which I did. Some I couldn't find.
My question is: Is...
Thanks for the reply. My FSS commander is absolutely doing the IRILO despite the AFI regulations.
Is there an AFI regarding paying for medical records out of pocket? They are telling me if I don't pay for the records, then the MEB process will end, and I will ETS immediately
Here is an excerpt from my unit commander that is handling my medical retirement process. I was found unfit for duty May 23 for PTSD. My medical unit has drug this out until present day. I was told in May 25' by the exact same unit commander that is now handing the process, that he was closing...
Found unfit in 23 for PTSD. LOD for PTSD

Base Commander puts Unit Commander in...

Lets say you choose to go with the LDES lane. How do they determine...
Thanks to all who responded. Somewhat confusing, but I'm sure the information is there. And like one may have mentioned, getting an attorney who is assigned to MEB council may also help with clarification.
1. To add to this discussion. I have 4 LOD's at the moment. None of which are mental...

Thank you,
1. What qualifies a person for CRSC?
2. What does "36 months look like" I'm assuming they look at each year you were in and what you made in that year? And take the highest of those 3 years for an average?
3. Worst case scenario - I would get Tricare - does my spouse get...
Hello,
I am a reservist with 8 good years toward retirement. I am currently 90% service connected by the VA.
1. If I am recommended for a MEB, can I go for a DOD medical retirement only? I understand there is a 30% rule that seperates a person from a medical discharge or a medical retirement...
