If it helps any, I recently submitted my packet and got me decision letter, albeit from the Army, but 2 combat tours to Afghan, and my 30% rating for Hyper-Awareness/Sleep Disorders was awarded with the reason of combat deployment and location. I have a CIB but they didn't cite that as the reason.

I just got my call today from legal, was about 5 weeks. They are accepting most of my appeal an adding a condition to my unfit DOD rating.

I had my meeting with legal this afternoon, was told my appeal will be submitted next week once all documents are in order, and it should take roughly a month to hear back. So its likely around that range. I was told if I did a formal board though it would be in November or December.

Wanted to update this old post for anyone that might find it, I was contacted last week, on Thursday, 15 FEB 2024 that my MEB had been initiated again post knee surgery and recovery. I attended my initial MEB inbrief yesterday and meet with my PEBLO for the first time tomorrow.
