When you call the VBA number, ask the representative for the latest activity and notes in your case! That's how I found out before my VERA call, but YMMV. Some call center folks are more forthcoming with info than others.

I took some leave at the end of December that really helped me not completely spiral. I think being out of the uniform and away from the unit helps, not sure what your plans for the future or your terminal is but even getting away somewhere for a week can stop or slow the spiral.

My anxiety is fucking killing me with this lol. Not sure what works best for you but my psychiatrist put me on some anti-psycotics that help me at least sleep a little and stay mostly calm.

If it helps, I've been at the IPEB since 22 Nov and just got assigned to a rater on the 23rd of January. Still no ratings though.

ETS and DOS were originally the first week of March, but my PEBLO had me file an extension because I hadn't heard anything back by the middle of January, so they pushed everything back 6 months. Once I get my orders that will change again to account for PTDY and terminal.

Yep. Currently in a one deep position with no replacement lined up, won't be allowed to stop working unless my condition puts me back in a hospital or I get my VA rating and sign my 1168. Edit: for context, my DOS was pushed on on a medhold to September of 2025.

yea. I wish there was like, any form of recourse to try and push this along, but the process is the process and all I can do is laugh at it and try to not go any more crazy waiting

Dude i feel ya. My claim has apparently been with a rater since last Thursday and I've gotten to the point where I'm calling pretty much every day and nothing changes. I've got a VERA call tommorow, highly reccomend you schedule one as well!

I would hope that if your claim is closed there would be nothing else VES needs and it's a clerical error. Unless they deferred one of your claims?
