I have an update for anyone waiting on their unfit memo. I got in touch with my peblo and I mean basically just instead of waiting for the unfit memo youre waiting for your VA ratings stay strong.

Thank you for the advice I sent him an email. I must say that I think its a little messed up to make a soldier wait until the very end of the process to find out if he/she is fit or unfit that makes it hard to plan for after service jobs etc...

I don't know about other branches but im army and for us after you sign your narsum they send it to the PEB and the fit/unfit memo is their decision basically the final decision on whether or not you are gonna get out or return to duty.

Just waiting for my unfit memo... HOPEFULLY soon! Its my understanding that after the unfit memo you get your ratings and after you sign the 199 youre just transitioning?

Id like to imagine ill be one of the lucky ones but its more likely ill be waiting about as long as you lol! Please let me know when you get yours... and are you going through your meb at sill?
