Does anyone know what a IDES case status of “QA Ready Post VA” means and how long this step usually takes? This is my new status as of the 3/15 JDETS report. I was found UNFIT on 3/6.

I went 169 with MO before it moved to the Presiding Officer. Seems to be the higher end of wait times from what I’ve seen.

Referred to IDES on 7 Feb 2021. Case sent to the PEB on 6 Aug 2021, assigned to a MO on 13 Sept. 201 days at PEB and 163 days with MO. Still waiting.

My case was submitted on 6 August (183 days ago) and assigned to a MO on 13 Sept (145 days ago). Still with the MO. Haven’t moved to the Presiding Officer yet. This whole “first come first served” that the PEBLOs talk about is total BS. Lol. It’s just like the military though to lie to your face...

Why is that?

Was your case sent to the PEB in June or was it assigned to a Medical Officer on the PEB in June? If it was sent to the PEB in June it may not have been assigned to a MO until July.

FPEB are being taken on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I was told that they do not do any IPEB on those days and solely focus on FPEB. IPEBs are done on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Something may have changed since I was told that though.

I had the same thing happen to mine last week. BEL stands for Benefits Estimate Letter. It’s your proposed ratings. I was able to track down on my case that the VA sent me BEL to the PEB. The PEB needs it to determine final DoD %.

Just a little perspective for you so reality can set in. My package was sent to the PEB on Aug 6, 2021 and wasn’t assigned to a Medical Officer (MO) until Sep 13, 2021. My package has been at the PEB with a MO for 137 days and with the PEB for a total of 175 days. I’m still waiting but have seen...
