National Guard coming up to 21 good years of service 3400 points/360 =9.444 years
Recently rated 100% P&T by VA
Previously 60% almost 15 years ago
Rating related to Falluja and Haditha Deployments in 2004 and 2005(active Marines) some conditions worsened on the most recent 2022 Guard deployment and are codified.
I am wondering if
1. I should simply retire and be content at 59 or pursue CRDP now through the med board process.
2. Does CRDP offset the VA retirement or stac on top of it?
3. Does this CRDP differ on traditional retirement?
4. How much risk is involved to go through IDES?
Any wisdom, experience and advice is appreciated!
