AF AD 10 yrs – what happens after VA appointments are done?

I’ve been trying to look up timelines, but it’s a bit difficult to search everything from my phone. I’m hoping to hear from others who have been through the process and can share how things moved after their VA appointments were completed.


I finished all of my VA appointments on 23 September and haven’t heard anything since. I also confirmed with the VA that they received all required paperwork. At this point, I’ve been told it’s just waiting on the claims side to update something.


What I’m confused about is the next step. I thought that once the VA exams were finished, the process would move back to the DoD side for the MEB or PEB. For anyone who has gone through this recently, what did your timeline look like after the VA appointments were complete?
