I have just received my P3 for PTSD/Depressive Disorder and have been referred to the MEB. Awaiting the second signature on the profile, and will update as we go through the process.

Curious on, where are you in the timeline with your medical ?

I just received my MEB notification memo this week. My packet will go to the state on Tuesday. It took just under 20 days to get my memo from when I received the second signature on my P3 profile.

From August to October, yikes, however I suppose. Should you have any question , feel free to ask me. I went through %^%$# and back a year ago, however I prevailed. Not boasting or bragging, what I meant is you have to be your very own advocate. I receive email notifications so I'll respond accordingly. Keep this in mind in case you receive any pushback ( someone LOL ) While on Medical / back on AD / throughout your MEB, money does not come from state LOL.
Your orders to AD via MEB proceedings comes from Ft Sam. meh, I can give you more info if you want to talk.

I’m Army Guard AGR and am at the tail end of the process. Once your case gets out of your state’s hands and handed off to big Army it goes relatively quickly. Oh, and that’s something you should know, because you’re AGR you’re going to be an active Army case assigned to an AD post, not a Guard case. I was assigned to FT Eisenhower. My PEBLO told me from day one that it would take 4 months, and that’s exactly what it was. Reach out if you have any questions.

Thank you for the information, I will definitely reach out with questions. Right now I am being told between 6-8 months after the packet is submitted. Not sure about those timelines but we shall see how it goes.

Thanks for the timeline. We just submitted my packet to my state case manager. She said she was going to get on it as soon as she can. One of my concerns through this whole deal is that when I hurt my back and hip, the didn't do any LODs as they said I didn't need one being an AGR soldier. How true is this and do I need to get them to go back and do LODs? It would be hard as the people that were there when I got hurt both times are gone now and retired.

They are correct, you do not need an LOD if you are on active duty. Everything that happens to you- from getting COVID, to breaking a bone, to mental health issues are automatically “line of duty.” Make sure you scour both your civilian and military medical records for ANYTHING you were treated for or complained about while on active duty and claim all of it!

I have gathered up everything from my doctors while on active duty. It is quite a large portfolio of items. I am planning on claiming everything I can think of!

Good Morning, I am in my IDES process now (all VA exams complete and DBQ's uploaded to TOL 28 October). I was wondering which installation you are being processed through? I sent a follow up email to both my MSC and PEBLO and receive radio silence. Is there a different way to be tracking these actions outside of email updates from MSC and PEBLO? To be clear, I found the DBQ's on TOL myself. I haven't had any situational contact from MSC or PEBLO since before the VA appointments were scheduled in late September.

I am still early in the process and haven't been assigned a PEBLO yet. My MEB packet is still at the state level awaiting review. That review should be done today and the packet pushed up. Have you tried contacting your PEBLO?

Yes, I emailed both my PEBLO and MSC. Nothing back from my PEBLO but MSC wrote back yesterday and said it looked like my DBQ’s were pulled and sent to my PEBLO for initiation of the MEB phase.

Ok, I haven't started that process yet and haven't worked and DBQ. I am pretty early in the process still. Hoping my packet review by the state med board team is complete today and forwarded on to the proper folks.

Best of luck! That part went pretty quickly between being assigned a PEBLO and doing those counseling’s and meetings. Within the next month I had the MSC assigned and started the VA process. I highly encourage you to get your VA claims together if you have not. Once you receive the form from the MSC it’s a short turn around. I got 5 days to return it complete, including weekends and holidays.

Thank you for the recommendation. I have filled out and submitted my DBQ. Still waiting on packet review and first contact from my PEBLO.

My packet was approved by the state and pushed forward to big Army today. Let the real ride begin.

Today I had my PEBLO counseling to start the process. I also had a call with the VA MSC rep and submitted my conditions to setup my appointments. I was told by my PEBLO that it would be about a 200 day process. Let the real ride begin.

December 19th 1st PEBLO CONTACT
December 23rd 1st VES contact for appointments
January 6th 1st Appointment(PTSD)
January 10th Sleep Study
January 12th Hearing/Tinnitus Appointment
January 22nd physical Evaluation Appointment

Sounds like it will be 30-90 days after the last appointment before can expect to hear anything. Am I able to track this on the VA website?

I got my DBQs back in 3x weeks, the system's moving along quickly it seems. Also T32 AGR for what its worth.
