Hi,

I am new here. I have been on a profile for a year. I received the code 37 recently. I am trying to get my af form 1185 corrected due to errors saying I was able to deploy and do my afsc. I was wondering if they have retain marked on the af form 1185 will that be the deciding factor for me staying in? also do you guys suggest I should write how I feel in the airmen acknowledgement comment section? Or what exactly should I put there when I sign it. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
 
Did your Commander mark that on purpose or was it a genuine error? If its a genuine error I would imagine it would be as simple as fixing it and rerouting for your Commander's signature. If they did mean to mark it and feel you can continue your job then I would ask your PEBLO about it. Ultimately the form is a "What does the CC think" form, if they feel that your disability isn't disqualifying then that's what the 1185 is for.

I believe it was his decision. I also believe it he was presented my case wrong because the way they filled out the first 1185. I have had the 1185 changed twice now the first time they said my 469 admin restrictions expired, I was able to do my AFSC and deploy. I'm not sure if it was lies or just gross error on the first document. I have not been able to do my afsc for over a year now. It is changed to no on 1a and 1b now but it has retain still and the sole reason is because the latest profile I got is up 4 months before my separation. Should I talk with my PCM to see if my profile can be longer? should I accept the Retain selection even though I do not agree with it and write non-concur in comments?

Also I was told to provide proof of all my appointments that I have had and days I believe that I have had off due to my injury. (this is relating to the days missed part) It is currently blank on the 1185 because I disagreed with the days as well.
