Appeal Process?

I applied for SSDI a few weeks ago after my medical attorney urged me to do so several times.

I am 100% TRDL both DoD and VA but still on active duty.

I applied online and gave all the information they asked for including contact information for my doctors and medical attorney, and a couple of weeks later they sent me a very long questionnaire about my conditions and daily life, which I filled out and faxed the day I received it.

I called yesterday (about a week after sending the questionnaire back) to make sure they received the faxed forms and the woman I spoke to said that they had made a decision on my case and that it was being mailed to me (she refused to tell me what the decision was over the phone, I don't know why). From her tone of voice and attitude as well as the quick turn around, I'm inferring that the letter will be one of a denial.

Can someone explain how to begin an appeal process if this is the case?

If it is denied, there will be some guidance included on how to appeal the decision.

If a decision had been made you can create an account t and login to MySSA and print a verification letter which will tell you if you have been approved or not.

I submitted my appeal, this time with the help of a para-legal, and this too was denied. I don't understand why, and I don't like my chances of success through an ALJ.
