Hi ,
Iam in Army Reserve, and iam about to be MEB . I am already have VA 80% disability, so my question is if I chose IDES is the VA going to delete/Cancel my 80% rating ? And start new evaluation?
If that so , how about disability/s that is already in Appeal status , are they going to cancel it also ?
And my last question is if they going to cancel my VA rating and then going to issue me new rating are they going to keep what is reasons that they denied some of my disabilities before the IDES ?
THANK YOU

Your current rating will not be "deleted" while in the MEB, however you will likely go through an entire evaluation (to include what you're currently rated for" and you will either remain at your current rating, receive a decrease or an increase.

Thank you for the answer. How about the claims that I already have in Appeal waiting for 2 years already !
When I go through MEB and do reevaluation again do I going to lose that claims? And start all over again in new evaluation?

Those claims will likely be re-evaluated as well. I recommend letting someone know the status of that appeal.
