Does CDRP restore the entire va offset for retirees with 20 or more years of service? Also is there any variations to cdrp?

It should minus the taxes.

But if you are asking if it restores it for 20 plus year retirees that are also medically retired… then no. So in my case I retired over 20 but I also have a DOD rating of 70 percent. My offset is a lot higher than my CRDP is. I applied for CRSC to remove the tax burden.

i see, so if i understand correctly instead of 50 percent of high 3 for 20 year retiree, you would get 70 percent for medical retirement with similar years of service?

It’s the opposite. You can’t get more than your longevity. So my CRDP and CRSC is capped at 2500ish. My offset is approximately 4k. I can’t go over the 2500 as that is my length of service retirement.
