Chapter 61 Retirement:
YOS 86%/DOD Disability 70%/ VA100%/CRSC???

I'm trying to figure out what my pay will be to finalize a Retirement Pay clarification order for my divorce from 2011.

I don't understand what takes from what, what counts as what, what replaces what, and my disposable retirement pay amount when all that is done.

I'm going to use rounded made up figures for clarity for others looking at this post.
Let's assume a High-3 of $10,000:
CH 61 (YOS) $8600
CH 61 (DOD% Combat-related) $7000
VA 100% (w/spouse) $4000
% of Combat-related VA(EST.):
70%(above in CH61)+10%=74%
Amount of CRSC: ???
Amount of disposable retirement party: ??

Pretty sure the court will use your earned regular pension to determine what you should pay your spouse since your YOS will be used as the % since higher than 70% for DOD.

I think the court would take $10,000-8,600=$1,400 as disposable pay, but I have no idea how the CRSC is determined with a CH61 retirement.

You need to get on facebook and get into the CRSC calculator. Are you a reservist or were ? Your amount will be based on length of service which is points. Your CRSC amount cannot be higher than what your retirement pay would be. The main difference being that you are Ch61 retired so your DoD amount really doesn't matter here.
