Contacting the PEB??

Hi,

Has anyone try contacting the PEB for a status through email? I found a contact email for PEB administrative and case status questions. I mean what is the worst that could happen, that they tell me go through your PEBLO? Just wanted to get some input from anybody here if I should try it or if anyone has done it? Thanks

Personally I think you should just wait. Look at the big picture here. You have the rest of your life to collect benefits, this process is only months. However I don't know the specifics of your case but if it's at the PEB level then it is probably only going to be a few months at most. I try to look at it this way, although it sucks for future planning purposes, we are still receiving a paycheck. Anyways back to the point, in my opinion I wouldn't do that. If you can't get info from your PEBLO, by sending the PEB emails, that reminds me of mom saying no so you ask dad. Someone could get mad in the process and that's when something could mess you up in your timeline. Finding out info will not speed anything up anyways, just elevate some concern but I don't think it's worth it.

Thanks a lot for the input. I got a little anxious since it has been a couple of months... but guess what, i just recieved my 199! So freaking happy. Thanks again!

Yeah, in case anyone were to search this thread, contacting the PEB directly would be a horrible idea. Its not like they are deliberately not doing your specific package, they probably have dozens, if not hundreds, in front of yours.
