Good morning,

I was just given the word that the USAF will be retaining me. I just had one question.

Mainly I'm asking about health insurance. With my diagnosis my medications cost thousands a month. would this still be covered by the military or VA if I voluntarily separate in 2026?

Any guidance anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.
 
As long as you claim it and they grant a service connection (which they should), they will cover it as long as you enroll in VA healthcare and use them for treatment. If you end up living too far from a VA facility you can get a community care referral.
