Hello. This website was extremely helpful when I was medically retired years ago @ 60% when diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. I had 16 years in, and obviously cannot receive Concurrent Receipt. On my way out I claimed sleep issues/mental health/anxiety, and was not approved for any of them.

Last week I had a mental health exam, and this week saw I am 100% for PTSD with unspecified depressive disorder and anxious distress, as well as special monthly compensation based on housebound criteria.

My question about CRSC is I want to apply based on PTSD, but I was medically retired for Type 1, which some doctors say could have come onset in my 30s from PTSD. I have already filed a privacy act request for my DBQs from the mental health exam. Does anyone have any experience with this? Thank you.

Adding this info might help:
Originally retired @ 60% for T1 (16 years service)
30% for allergies
20% for mechanical back strain
10% tinnitus
10%Left lower radiculopathy

Just received 100% rating for mental health alone this week

CRSC takes into account any and all conditions that are found to be service-connected as long as you can show a "causal relationship to a combat event or events". If you have any combat-related awards, that will be your supporting documentation to show the relationship for PTSD. If you do not, you will need to obtain a wartime chain of command statement from an E-8/O-3 or higher stating that said event(s) occurred and you were exposed to whatever led to the diagnosis.

I received my results yesterday, and they approved 30% for allergies.
And not even tinnitus? I mean, ffs, at a minimum they should have done that
