Hello,
Using your figures--
1. Your retired pay will be reduced to zero due to the amount of VA compensation.
2. If your total points for retirement are 1064, then 1064/360 = 2.94 active duty equivalent
3. 2.94 x 2.5% = 7.35% longevity multiplier
4. 2312 x 7.35% = 169.93 longevity portion of retired pay and CRSC maximum if 2.94 was your AD equivalent
5. If 1.63 was your active duty equivalent then 1.63 x 2.5% = 4.1 longevity multiplier. 2312 x 4.1% = 94.79 longevity portion of retired pay and CRSC maximum if 1.63 was your AD equivalent
6. Notes:
a. An approved CRSC percentage was not shown
so the actual CRSC could be less in one case and will not be higher in either case.
b. A 2% rate would be used instead of 2.5% if you selected the blended retirement system.
c. Your active duty equivalent will be shown on your retirement order 3/4 down on first page as "Disability Retirement".
d. In most CRSC cases, the following info is needed for a computation: Information necessary for CRSC estimate: LINK <---
Your case was relatively simple to compute.
