CRSC Documentation Question

I was just retired TDRL and my condition was found Combat related by the PEB board. I am now planning to apply for CRSC. My Attorney given to me for the PEB said I should reach out to him when I apply for CRSC, but given the gov’t shutdown he is now furloughed, so unreachable. But I am confused why I would potentially need an attorney’s help since it seems to be straight forward uploading documents supporting my claim, unlike the PEB where there was a lot of writing involved. Can anybody provide insight into how much they had to “craft” their story for the CRSC board and if I would need my attorney’s help?

Thanks

You can do it yourself but I would take help if given to you. Unless your condition is presumptive there is rarely situations that are clear cut. Its not just about having the condition being combat related, you need to articulate the facts in a way that shows it.
