Question for those who have applied for CRSC with the Navy/USMC:

I'm trying to navigate the CRSC application process and have run into significant roadblocks with communication. I'm hoping to hear about your personal experiences and how you overcame these challenges.

  • Submitting the Application: How did you successfully send your documents?
    • I've tried email, but my files are too large, and my messages to [email protected] and [email protected] have gone unanswered.
    • I also tried physical mail to 720 Kennon Street SE, Suite 309, Washington Navy Yard, DC 20374-5023, but the delivery was rejected because 3pm is apparently "after hours" on a weekday. What method worked for you?
  • Contacting Their Office: Were you able to get in touch with anyone?
    • I've had no luck with the phone number, 1-877-366-2772. The automated system either says the mailbox is full or hangs up after failing to connect me.
Did you experience a similar lack of communication? What was your overall experience like with the CRSC office? Any tips or insights on how you managed to submit your application and get in contact with them would be incredibly helpful. Thanks in advance for sharing your stories.

So how I did mine was in in 4 separate emails labeled with what was in each email (da99, cib, deployment order..ect) with a email tag 1/4, 2/4 etc..with full name and last 4 of social… now to compact the files use adobe reader and zip file them down. This works best if you have your health record on a CD. Can still be done without cd but will take a lot of time if you don’t have it on digits.

^^^ THIS when it comes to breaking up the emails! Also, do NOT send zipped files to Army, they WILL reject them! Other branches, I have not heard feedback but prob is the same. Also, I didn't realize Acrobat Reader can "flatten" the PDF's, another tool is PDFArchitect or you can use the Acrobat trial version for free.

Hmmm odd because I zip filed mine and sent it to the army and was accepted. Maybe a case by case? But better safe than sorry.

Yeah they’ve been sticklers over the past couple of years so if you got it in recently, you’re lucky :)
