It does thank you.It took 3 appeals for my husband to get his approved. The last appeal was sent at the first of Jan this year and approved in mid April. He got the pay May 1. Hope that helps.
Thank you, I truly appreciate it. I have written Congress as I have no more energy to play the game with HRC. 120 days for a reconsideration is unacceptable. I have asked for my Congressman to inquire as to the full process at HRC in detail so that I can understand what takes 6 months. If indeed it is justified in taking 6 months I have asked my Congressman to push HRC to increase whatever resources they need to cut this time table down and make this a priority. I bet I have an answer in a week. I would encourage others to contact their representatives if they feel similarly.Calculating 120 business days from April 10th gives you a final due date of October 2nd. This is excluding all weekends and public holidays.
Did you receive any follow up since then?Received reply from Congressional aid, they will be in touch with HRC this week.
