Does anyone have a good understanding of the current turnaround for CRSC from received into iPerms to decision?

I'm assuming it's a 90 calendar day wait before I hear anything back, thank you ahead of time!

I received confirmation that HRC received my CRSC packet on JAN 20th, 2023
I am still in a holding pattern and have asked for updates via email and phone.
Each time they told me it is 60-90 BUSINESS days for processing.

recently for the Army its been taking 3 months. My wife submitted her application in December and got her award in March.

IPERMS application uploaded 23 DEC 22
CRSC approved in IPERMS 17 MAR 23

84 calendar day from received to decision.
 
Received: January 23, 2023

Approved: April 12, 2023

Total Days: 79

Just got update from iPerms today, so it moved finally, woot me.
 
Thanks everyone, still have not received an answer from the CRSC team. I received the confirmation of receipt email on March 2nd, so hopefully within the next 30 days I'll hear something back!
 
Still no update from HRC. Today is day 83 since received by HRC (2 March 2023). Hopefully within the next few weeks I will have something back.

Just be patient with it, the one solid place to keep checking at is iPerms, that's the best site for all your service docs.

Mine popped in iPerms before I saw it in the mail, so keep checking there for anything and as stated before: be patient.
 
Thanks all, I'm remaining patient - just reading through this forum and the FB group and seeing the average of 75-85 days from receipt to uploaded in iPerms (I check iPerms daily), and with my time currently at 85 days, was hoping to see something sooner than later. I got through to the Army HRC-CRSC mailbox and was told to wait 90 business days before asking for updates, which would be July 3rd.
 
UPDATE:

My CRSC approval letter was uploaded in iPerms this morning (no email notification). I was approved for 60% CRSC, and will be requesting an estimated amount in a separate thread.

Here is my timeline:

28FEB2023: CRSC packet sent to HRC
02MAR2023: Notification from HRC of packet received
02JUN2023: CRSC approval letter uploaded in iPerms (backdated to OCT2022)
TBD: First payment of CRSC

92 total days from receipt to approval.

I will be reaching out to DFAS to ensure initiation of my audit for backpay. I'm sure that will also take 90-120 days.
 
Good morning team - Timeline Update! Hopefully this helps those still awaiting approval of their packet. This is for Army HRC.

Timeline:
28FEB2023: Packet mailed to HRC
02MAR2023: Email of receipt from HRC
25MAY2023: Requested update from HRC
01JUN2023: Approval date of CRSC on the letter 02JUN2023: Approval letter uploaded to iPerms
21JUN2023: DFAS CRSC Statement Updated
30JUN2023: First CRSC Payment listed in DFAS

Total of 92 days from packet received to approval letter in iPerms. This is for Army HRC. 111 days from packet received to CRSC statement in DFAS. My CRSC approval amount is 60%
They awarded me 30% for my GSW received in Afghanistan in 2011, 30% for PTSD, and 10% for tinnitus/hearing loss - total 60%.
I was an O-4 with 13 years and 4 months of active service, retired with 40% DoD, and 100% permanent and total from the VA. I retired in September of 2022.
1. Amount of waived retired pay = 3153
2. High 3 monthly payment: 7882
3. 13.333 yrs x 2.5% = 33.33% longevity multiplier
4. 7882 x 33.33% = 2627 longevity portion of retired pay and one of the CRSC ceilings
5. VA comp amount: $3,971.78
6. CRSC Approval %: 60%
7. CRSC Amount $1,528 (Matches the VA table for 60% with 1 spouse and 1 child)
8. Backpay audit still pending (DFAS told me 90-120 days from approval).

My wife had similar timeframe applied at the end of December 2022. She got her 3 months of CRSC backpay 90 days from when she was initially approved for CRSC.
