Here are some VA sites that discuss dental care provided by the VA. I did not see implants by the VA specifically mentioned.I have has a tooth pulled and its affected my chewing. Does the VA cover 100% disabled dental implants, I am sure they don't.. Thanks
The VA here in Birmingham, Alabama is saying since it’s the back tooth they don’t do implants there. The whole reason that tooth was bad was because I got a bad filling when I was deployed to West Africa. It enrages me thinking that they won’t pay for that, but they will pay for illegal immigrants health care. What should I do next?Implants are covered if you are 100% P&T, but they make you jump thru some hoops.
Umm no one is paying for illegal immigrants healthcare at the VA. Come on not everything is about partisan politics, even though it seems that way these days. The VA here in Birmingham, Alabama is saying since it’s the back tooth they don’t do implants there. I’m not sure what you mean by partisan politics. I didn’t say anything about politics, but I did say I have a problem with the government paying for illegal people to be receiving healthcare when I serve my country for 22 years and I can’t get the healthcare I earned. That aside you make some good points I’ll definitely fallow through with this. I am going to an ortho facial guy to get an assessment on the tooth. Unfortunately, I will have to pay for that.
I've run into similar issues with VA coverage before, but in the meantime, you might consider Invisalign braces. My friend got them at the Healthy Smile Dental Center and loves how comfortable and simple they are. They were looking for a way to fix some dental alignment issues while waiting for other procedures. It's a handy solution if you're considering alternatives for dental care.I found a couple of high-definition links in some archived threads. If you need them, let me know. Also, have you tried messaging users who might have what you're missing?
