Currently going through a MEB for MH, all C&P exams done, awaiting NARSUM. There’s a 2 week field coming up and I told my PEBLO that I may not be available if he needs me for anything since I’ll be gone and he’s saying that I shouldn’t be going at all during this process and that I need to stay available. Is there anything I can do or bring up to my CoC? They’re pretty set on me going.
Any and all advice appreciated, thank you.
Also, this field would violate my BH profile, so I got that going for me.
This is where I would ask the PEBLO and your JAG lawyer to contact your chain of command on your behalf. If you tell your chain of command it just looks like you are trying to get out of going.

So just to clarify, I’m not supposed to be going to any of these fields or be not available during the MEB process, and that’s why I should get PEBLO/JAG involved?
Your PEBLO should have reached out to your chain of command after you told them that. Your 1sgt should be involved in your process as well possibly the person your peblo will contact to handle this matter.
One final question, will a commander listen to the PEBLO and respect what he has to say? I’ve heard it’s a CG ran program (the MEB process) but im not sure of the whole thing. Doubt a company commander would want to go against the CG
I believe the commander / your command will listen to the peblo. I’m not exactly sure how it’s ran. You should definitely reach out to your peblo and explain the situation and they will contact who they need to. When CODE 37 was initiated it Eliminates you from tdy, deployments, leave, surgeries and pretty much anything that will interfere with the med board process. I am trying to find AFIs or proper documents but my night meds are kicking in… hopefully that helps or someone else can add on. Definitely reach out to PEBLO though.
