Hi everyone, I have a question regarding use or lose leave and receiving your final out date. I am in the final stages of the PEB (currently awaiting VARR for once of my conditions), once I receive my final out datum I able to get it shifted to the right in order to use my use or lose leave ? Right now I am on administrative leave for a skill bridge fellowship and have 27 days of use or lose and would like to take all 87 days before I transition in conjunction with the 20 PTDY. Has anyone had experience with this ? Any insight would be helpful. Thank you!

Once you get done with the process you will get retirement orders with a NLT date 60 days out. You can submit a 4187 form to request to extend your NLT date to use all of your leave and Permissive TDY (If approved for the TDY). The form needs to be filled out within a few days of receiving your retirement orders. Your PEBLO can give you what is needed. The 4187 requires an O6 signature on it.
Thank you! You would not happen to have a template ? I was curious how it would work with the new HR System IPPSA. I thought the NLT Date was 90 Days out ?
i could be wrong it might be 90 days out. My wife had 120 days of leave due to covid runovers and 20 PTDY. I don't have template because they revised the form so I only have the old version but your PEBLO can get it to you.
