Fort Bragg Timeline

You and I are in a very similar boat. Signed “Do Not Concur, Do Not Want an IMR” to fight that battle at the PEB stage. Legal is fairly confident though I’ll be at 100% P/T VA though, so I am happy about that. Fingers crossed! They quoted me about 40-60 days for the PEB stage. I have a CPT in my BN that said it only took him about 4-5 weeks. Hopefully that rings true for me, too. Crazy to think I could be on terminal leave right around July!
Legals timeline projections are long compared to the pleblos of 3 to 4 weeks, but I suppose we shall see. I'm on week 2 right now. I better be on terminal leave way before July, lol.

I was told when I started my process of meb that’s they’re EXTREMELY backed up and short staffed so it could take longer than expected. But I was on Google and if you got to the 7th floor at the soldier support center I think it’s a room or office up there. If you do let me know how that goes please
The office is across from ssc, that’s what I was told on the phone it’s located in the warrior recovery unit building. Got my stuff sorted out and am scheduled for legal now, they are very backed up but you should receive your call in 4-6 weeks if you get past 4 weeks I would try to get in contact with the ides staff to make sure your referral was submitted correctly that was my issue.

So I did get in contact with them last week and they did get my packet. She said I was on the list and I just haven’t been assigned a case manager just yet but hopefully fingers cross this week I will get one going on 3 weeks.

Yah you’ll get your call soon then my buddy go his right at 4 weeks we were put in the same day and he’s already completed with the c&ps

Appreciate the reply. Was you buddy successful in getting what he wanted added?
I just got notification of approval for the v3 combat code. Took exactly 14 days from submitting the appeal to getting called by my PEBLO letting me know it was approved.

You’ll definitely be on terminal leave before then. Our timelines are similar. I received my 199 & proposed rating from the VA on May 7

I just realized you meant sharing my timeline lol

I dunno why these clowns are making me wait so long for my 199 and proposed ratings. They've had my proposed ratings since Monday. When I called them out on it they said it's awaiting signature and I should have it next week. A week for a signature? .

Yeah that’s about how long it takes. They have other cases that they do and they have to go through your ratings from the VA and type up your findings and it has to get signed off and stuff. I’d rather them take their time than to pencil whip my stuff lol

I'm just salty, I wanna be out, the variances in timelines are ridiculous to me and there's no excuse for it.

04 DEC 23 - P3 submitted.

23 JAN 24 - Second signature signed-MRDP reached and MEB initiated.

26 JAN 24 - Received call to schedule the PEBLO/LEGAL briefing.

30 JAN 24 - PEBLO/LEGAL briefing.

31 JAN 24 - PEBLO meeting

13 FEB 24 - MSC meeting

22 FEB 24 - First VA Appointment

13 MAR 24 - Last VA Appointment (5 in total)

28 MAR 24 - All DBQs uploaded on Tricare online

08 APR 24 - NARSUM Received

10 APR 24 - Legal review

12 APR 24 - MEB packet sent to PEB

06 MAY 24 - Unfit/ VA ratings complete

15 MAY 24 - Proposed ratings and 199 received

17 MAY 24 - Legal review and rebuttal

This process has been brutal. Currently trying to get my DOD rating higher and combat coded as the MEB completely botched my Narsum in my opinion by not adding any other disqualifying conditions when I clearly have them, especially when you read the medical documentation and VA ratings. Good luck boys

Part of me wants to, but I'm gonna get crdp and I don't want to pay these bastards taxes.

Anybody know what percentage they initially tax severance at? I’m v3 coded of that makes any difference

Looks like none if you're coded

You get the taxes back because you’re medically separating so it’s generally tax free. You just have to fill out the paperwork
