How does Retirement EAS work?

I signed my findings June 06. Still waiting for my EAS to populate. I hear for some Marines it take 30 days, and some say 2 - 3 weeks. Either way I trying to figure out how far do they push back your EAS. I thinking of taking leave until it populates and want to know if this will extend my EAS date out?

contacted them they said it could be up to 60 days until any future EAS's are posted as there is only one person who does it. I contacted my congressman. I am so done with this process.
