my paperwork was sent up to AFPC back in march and i still havnt head anything back from anyone. my first shirt called AFPC and they said the have my paperwork and i cant do anything but wait. but two people that started there MEB's the same time as me are now civilians. what can i do? if anything?

Your PEBLO can tell you where it is in the chain. They can tell ou if you unfit (unoffical), when it was sent to the VA, and i think when the VA finished and sent back to the PEB. You can ask you PEBLO for your case officers name and see if they will help you. just some ideas. i'm stuck at the VA right now. VA was actually helpful the last time i called. She was very informative and told me RI is taking about 74 days to work claims. Man if they'd update me like this i won't bug everyone!! Good luck!
FWIW, it took two months from the PEB (AFPC) receiving my package to them sending it off to the VA for ratings (unfit). My package has been at the VA since May, so hopefully they have everything ready to send back a quick ratings proposal.
And my PEBLO won't do anything unless you specifically ask them to do a particular task (simply asking them to give you an update isn't directive enough).

Do we get backpay from the VA for the long wait to get things finished? Somebody told me we do, but actually nobody where I'm at seems to really know anything.
If on active duty/still in the military you won't get VA money. If your out you will get back payed til the DOS/DOR. OR at least you should.
