How long after official retirement date?

I searched the forum and couldn't find it anywhere. I apologize if this has already been answered. My official retirement date was two weeks ago. I frequently go to the ebenefits site, where, it states that my claim is still in progress, and they are gathering evidence.....but they aren't. My board was finalized in June. I try to go to my contact information, and it states that they could not access it at this time. The site lists my "pending disability claims". So my question, is how long before ebenefits catches up and lists the correct payments, disabilities, claims, and other pertinent info that it is supposed to have in order to help us? Also, how long does it take for the VA to send you the official letter of your rating? I was told that I would probably get my first payment from the VA on 1 December, since they pay for the month prior, instead of the month ahead. I'm just looking at my $00 LES from 1-13 Oct, and try to open my MRAS (both on mypay) and it states there is no file. So this means that my retirement has not kicked in yet either? Am I jumping the gun on this, or should all of this already be reflected on the proper page?

Have you sent your final DD214 to the VA? Typically this will get done once your retire, however it is a cruicial step in getting your proposed ratings finalized.

For my, it took less than a month to get my final ratings from the VA, but it does differ for everyone. eBenfits is not a reliable source, so you will either need to keep checking it and not get strressed over it, or wait for the letter to come in the mail.

Alternatively you can call your assigned VSO and ask them to look into the system to see if the ratings have been finalized.

Since you do not see a retirement LES on file, this could be a good sign that the VA and DFAS are talking right now.

I will have to call. My AG told me that a copy of my 214 was going to the VA, back when I out processed in August, but here again, I'm assuming that they received it. Do you think I should request to have an assigned representative from the e benefits site as well as work with my POC from the VFW since it seems he doesn't have access to that info? I haven't requested one through the site because I didn't want more than one person working in the system in my account to alleviate further confusion. It seems this may relate to different things though?

Me personally yes get a VSO, also I would check first thing tomorrow about your Dd 214

Well, wouldn't you know it, they didn't have my 214! I am at fault here for not following through months ago. I just uploaded it on the ebenefits site, and the guy gave me a fax number to send it to as well. He said I should receive my benefit letter/C&P 1-3 months since I was IDES. I can't imagine how this crap worked when everything was snail mail, and paper. It shouldn't be this difficult with automation.
