I recently separated last month, And I was just wondering how long it took for some of you to receive your VA pay after your separation from med board. Haven’t seen any movement on my VA App yet and hoping that it kicks in within two months.

Any month you received DoD pay is ineligible for VA benefits, so no pay for last month.
So this month you’re eligible for VA pay.
VA benefits are paid arrears, so you will be paid in January for December.
This is all contingent on you uploading your DD214 to your VA claim on E-benefits.
