IDES Timeline - Bangor,WA

You’re actually wrong about this. Here is the way it works…

If they can take away whatever your referred conditions are, and your total percentage remains the same, they will not recoup. (Unless your ratings change in the future, then check again)

For instance, I was 10% DoD and 100% VA. Taking away the 10% I still remain at 100%, so they aren’t recouping.

Let’s say taking away the 10% caused me to actually go to 90% though, then I would actually receive 90% VA disability and the difference between 90% and 100% goes towards recoupment until it is fully recovered, then I would get my 100%.
This is how it was explained to me by the peblo and what I was hoping for since I'm over 100% even with the 2 10%s getting taken away. Thanks.

When I spoke to MMSR4 last Thursday they received batches up to 50, I’m 56. When I spoke to the LCpl and civilian yesterday they said that they haven’t been receiving anything since February 8. I called the PEB and they said that we are getting the run around and someone at MMSR4 isn’t doing their job because they have been sending the index’s.
I just spoke to the civilian there and he said roughly the same. He checked my information and said it's saying they should be receiving something, but they haven't actually got my index and to call back next week. Haven't spoke to the PEB but I imagine I'd just get the same answer. Seems like the old he said she said situation.

Are you talking about your VA claim closing or your direct findings coming in from the PEB? These are two different things.
My Va claim closing was Jan 8. I am still waiting on my direct findings from the PEB. My PEBLO is no longer a PEBLO and that happened right after they submitted my case so the communications and information I’ve gotten since the case was submitted have been lacking. Im just trying to find someone with a similar timeline as I’ve had that has gotten their PEB findings in the past month or so and am wondering when there VA claim was closed/PEB was submitted. (My entire process I’ve only gotten half the information compared to what I see most people on here have gotten.)

I got told today that “Sgt Regarding your Index you are index batch number 52 and the peb has not yet sent us your package we are still waiting for them. We are missing indexes 50-62 right now. There are a lot of members going through the same problems right now.”

What the fuck? Lol throughout this whole ass process i keep feeling like I get unlucky as fuck and gotta wait more than everyone else my qa took 90 some days lmao.

With this information I have zero idea what this means timeline wise. i need to get mine posted next week 100%.

Your best bet is to call the PEB. My PEBLO also washed his hands of me the second mine got submitted, and when they do tell you a timeline, it will be completely wrong.

Oct 4 submitted to the PEB
Nov 6 VA ratings
Nov 22 found unfit
Feb 7 got final ratings

I get different answers everytime I call. Last week when I called the LCpl told me that they received the index’s through 50 or something like that and not that they haven’t been receiving index’s since the 8th. I’m number 56 so right behind you.

This entire process has been the worst time of my enlistment lmao.

My PEBLO also quit being one after they submitted my stuff so I had no communication the entire time. For me personally my VA claim closed NOV 11 and I didn't get my findings until the end of January which I then signed Feb 7th. I think the PEB is going a bit faster now as there aren't a ton of holidays but I would expect to be waiting for some time. I'd expect at least 50 days just to be safe.

Same. I've been dealing with this level of miscommunication and lack of accountability for almost three years now.
Just called the PEB 1 minute ago, he told me that my index has "already been sent"

I don’t know if this is true or not. I just talked with another person in my battalion who’s also on a med board. He found out that MMSR4 is trying to wait to get people out in April (in waves) instead of now because they have an inspection going on that same month and they want to look good. Again I don’t know if it’s true or not but I guess it would make sense why we haven’t got anything and why we are getting the run around.

Wow, my spouse's grandpa currently is in hospice and only has a few days to live and if that's true she most likely will not get to see him before he passes all because of a fucking inspection.

My grandfather is also in hospice. This is crazy.

If it’s true I honestly don’t know what to do now. This entire process has been messed up from the start. I was hoping to have an EAS date by the end of March. The guy I talked to in my battalion said if we don’t get a call by next week it will most likely be an April EAS.

This better not be the case. At some point they need to figure out a workaround, or drive up and pick the packages up so they can run them. No place in the Marine Corps would sitting around and waiting be the answer, much less tolerated for more than a week.

Well honestly I trust the PEB a lot more when they say that they sent it so it's looking like it definitely is some bullshit going on with MMSR4. When I spoke to their Gunny he basically made it sound like I definitely would get EAS in March by requesting it the way he stated.

It would not surprise me. Locally they screwed up my medical extension and I was getting calls from IPAC saying that had to drop me because I'd be a hit on their inspection if they didn't separate me within 5 days since my EAS hit. After I told them I was on a medboard and couldn't separate. Multiple times. Even after their OIC was tracking they were still calling. I struggle to see why it wouldn't happen somewhere else if it happened here.

Wasn't even local really either. It sat at HQMC for like 2+ weeks. What a coincidence.

So, I called the PEB about 20 minutes ago and they said they 100 percent sent my index to MMSR4. My index number is 52, just called MMSR4 again and one of their lances just told me that the last index that got was 49 and they have not gotten any since. He just told me that whoever I spoke to at the PEB was lying because if the PEB were to have sent it, they would have gotten it immediately, which he says he doesn't have it. Wtf is going on lol. Is this normal?

Weird. The civilian has been telling me it usually takes like a month to get them after the PEB sends them. None of this makes any sense lol
