IDES Timeline Camp Lejeune

I recommend ALL Service Members check on the status of their case theirselves via PEB vice your PEBLO. I got submitted to PEB Oct 27, VA closed Nov 7, and in Dec my case got suspended “admin fixes needed.” I talked to my PEBLO Jan 9 no mention of suspension; said case would be over soon. However I called the PEB this morning an was notified it was suspended because of the above reason. Called my PEBLO an requested an immediate update and fix so my case can restart where it left off. Hope this happens to no one else. Timeline of PEB results will sadly be later than expected.

Fellow Marine on med board who got their VA ratings Nov 9th got their final ratings today. I got my VA ratings Nov 6th and still dont have mine wtf?

Same here. I’m hoping my PEBLO is on top of her game and fixes my suspension issue quick because I also got my findings Nov 7 very close to you.

Last time i talked to peblo / ides attorney I was told I have been in a QA "ready" phase for 26 days or so ? Is this phase meaning that it's been done with QA??? I really do not want my case to randomly be held up for no reason.

QA I believe is the phase where the PEB places your case in line and once your number comes up they go over your case and make a decision on final ratings then send back to your PEBLO.

Hm so maybe the "ready" in QA ready meant that mine was completely prepared and ready for them to go over it.

What times do you call the PEB number and actually get a response that number isn't answering. I'm on west coast.

I’d assume so. I called them at 0825 EST an the guy wasn’t rude at all. Asked social and full name and gave me an update. (571) 442-0592 I called at 0800, 0802, 0805 all went to voicemail till the 0825 call went through. I even tried to (202) 685-6427/6422 number and no answer.

Spoke with the PEB first thing this morning. He said 10 days max, probably sooner.
Do you mind if i ask when you got your VA claim closed / found unfit days? I am really needing to get my results sometimes this week here is my timeline
Nov 6 2023 - VA claim closed
Nov 20 2023 - Found unfit
Nov 22 2023 - Went back to the PEB after being found unfit

I’m super close to your dates. Believe most of my dates are within a few days of yours, but you are just ahead of me.

I got va findings in 02OCT23 and still don't have dod.
I would definitely be on the PEB's ass trying to find out why because that seems very unique compared to everyone else. I'm really sorry to hear that man.

I need it to be within the next few days because I have seriously been going fucking insane waiting on them, I don't have that many leave days saved up and I have already mentally prepared for leaving the Marine Corps a while ago and now it's just been so terrible just sitting here and waiting.

Agree it’s not the best time and certainly makes it difficult to plan next steps, but the bulk of the waiting is behind you. Nothing more that you can do but take it one day at a time.

PEB told me today that I have two more weeks approximately, 150 cases are ahead of me .-.
Its insane how people behind me have already gotten theirs and i still have basically a month wtf

I'm getting anxious. My NARSUM was uploaded to Tricare Online and submitted to the PEB on December 19th, yet I have seen no update in the VA App. Most of the people on here seem to be getting notified of VA Claim Closed within 30 days of submitting to PEB. Has anyone else experienced a longer time between submitting NARSUM to PEB and VA Claim closing?

My "VA Claim Closed" took longer than 30 days. My case went to PEB in Mid September and the case closed beginning of November.

Remember that you have the holidays that happened since your case was submitted to the PEB, so that may be a delaying factor.

Mine took a little more than a month to close as well. I would only be worried about it if the end of January rolls around and you haven't heard anything. The holidays knocked out a lot of the working days recently.

Mine was submitted on 15 DEC and there is still nothing on the VA site/App. It would seem times vary.

Question for those in the thread, did you receive your narsum quickly? All DBQs were in Tricare the day after my last appointment and I reached out to my peblo to let her know. Been waiting on the NARSUM for two weeks which feels delayed.
