12 Aug 2024 - Notification of Full MEB

9 Sep 2024 – First/last VA claim appointment

6 Dec 2024 - NARSUM is ready for signature 1 unfitting condition

7 Dec 2024 - Signed. IPEB started.

6 Dec 2024 - First MyFSS email notifying me that PEBLO sent my MEB packet to IPEB

7 Dec 2024 - AFPC reviewed MEB packet. Sent to PEB for duty determination

12 Dec 2024 - PEB found me unfit for military service. Packet forwarded to VA

5 Feb 25 - VA Case closed. Requested copy of notification letter via email. Proposed rating is 30% from VA/DOD. Permanent Retirement.

6 Feb 25 – Contacted JAG – VA failed to assess any other conditions claimed (70 conditions on 526) besides my 1 unfitting

20 Feb 25 – FPEB returned case to PEBLO to correct and resubmit

3 Mar 25 – Sent to PEB for updated unfitting conditions and resent 526EZ to VA

11 Mar 25 – First C&P exam (8 in total)

29 Apr 25 – Last C&P exam completed

23 May 25 – Claim with VA Rater (70 Claimed Conditions)

18 June 25 – AF resubmitted again unfitting conditions (5 conditions) and found unfit

29 Aug 25 – VA.gov Claim closed and submitted

1 Sep 25 – MSC confirmed rating for VA 100% letter mailed

4 Sep 25 – 356 received (updated with 15 unfitting conditions) 90% DoD/100% VA

Wow, that seems sooooo long. I'm "broken with multiple conditions", was provided a P3 profile (dead man's profile), starting the MEB Process. Becasue it was done at 18 months before I'd hit 20 years of federal active service, I got it haulted. I'm more broken now and am committed to getting the P3 profile in place again, only once I know I can get through the process, without being medically retired before I hit the 20 year mark. I see that the goal for the entire process seems to be 180-220 day, but I've also heard that if you appeal and take all the time to respond, as allowed, along the way, that getting the process to take a year is doable. What do you think? I'm currently at 16 months to hit my 20 years, but cannot pull the trigger too early.
 
I would apply for a limited assignment Program LAS. Also, JAG will help you through it. As long as you get withing the 12 months usually they slow roll until 20.
