Right there with you, 120 at PEB, around 77 with MO. Keep your head up, look for the silver linings. I know they seem few and far between right now but we're all here to support each other.111 at PEB, 72 with MO. Looks like I've got a long wait ahead of me.
right behind you, 147 with the PEB and 103 with the medical officerI’m at 154 days with the PEB and 117 with the medical officer.
See the gif in my post above.
What you said is correct. The VA and DOD are separate, so even if you lose the DOD 30%, you will keep the VA 70%. The only way your VA rating would change is if you add anything to your claim or they review one of your conditions. (I’ve heard that the reviews only happen with mental health but I could be wrong)Hey guys, I'm a bit confused. I was rated 30% dod and 70% va tdrl to be assessed in 18 months. My attorney told me that the va check is separate from the navy benefits and I'm going to receive that money essentially indefinitely. So, the assessment is for whether or not the navy wants to keep that 30% rating and give me tricare? As in, I will always get that VA check even if the dod rating is lowered after 18 or 36 months? I asked my attorney for clarification like 3 times lol
Thanks for the reply. That's a relief that I at least get a check from the va if the dod decides they won't give me tricare because my dysthymia and anxiety have "improved"What you said is correct. Day 3 at the PEB, only 6 months to go!Day 2 with the medical officer. Only 148 more days to go!!!
The key word to look for is "static." If a condition is static, then the VA does not believe it will improve and will not reassess it in the future. But either way, if you have a reassessment exam they'll be basing their decision off of the 38 CFR ratings schedule, so you can always reference that before your exam to make sure you know what symptoms you "need."Thanks for the reply. Fingers crossed for you. My PEBLO told me to call her in FebruaryA Marine on FB said his package had been at PEB for 148 days and it was now waiting for DRAS to send the findings to PEB. So it seems like maybe it's speeding up maybe? Or maybe I'm just getting hopeful because I'm only a month away from being close to that.
oh wowI don't think they are in this forum, but I know of one person receiving findings yesterday. Their case went to the PEB on 30 April
Just gotta keep calling. Eventually you'll get one that WILL give it to you. On another note, has anyone see this on their VA clai
Yeah. The VA rater is looking over all the exams/DBQs submitted to them from QTC and assigning rating for each condition. Whenever they find some inconsistencies or errors on the exam, they will hit up the examining provider/QTC for corrections or explanation. That step will show upJust gotta keep calling. How many referred conditions did you have and were any of the mental health? Just trying to figure out if easier cases are being finished first or notUSN
