I'm filing an IG complaint

I'm in the same boat BUT at LEAST we have this forum to commiserate. Leadership generally doesn't have the bandwidth to be sympathetic/helpful to those of us going through it. The paycheck helps. Look at using some educational benefits or COOL funding for certifications since you have the time.
That’s exactly what I did to stay sane… I got two certifications and started school through VR&E just to stay busy. Otherwise, I’ve been applying for jobs, and interviewing like crazy. I had two back-to-back just yesterday. The sucky part about it is that I’ve also already had to decline job offers because I don’t have my findings. It’s a tough balancing act between being proactive and jumping the gun. But, at the end of the day, all these things distracted me from counting the days.

I submitted a CONGRINT last month and requested an update this week and was told Friday “that thing has been all over the Pentagon.” Not sure what that means lol…hopefully progress and not the opposite

huh that's pretty ambiguous. I would hope that means that they're doing something about it.

@adamst2020, When you say you are waiting on them to make a decision, can you be more specific? Are you talking about the IPEB board, formal board, MEB, VA, or medical?

I don't know anyone that has had success with filing an IG complaint in this process, ESPECIALLY during COVID. Keep plowing your own road... just keep your expectations manageable. IG will inquire, but there are so many obstacles in the way that they will just give up. I have seen better luck when people file a congressional inquiry in your situation. Depending on your congressman / congresswoman, this can at least get you information within a few months. IG is just going to piss off people without helping you.

Godspeed
Been a while but my congressmen was just told to tell me to kick rocks in a memorandum. Basically the confirmed the timeline, ignored other stuff requested, said I signed the paperwork, and they did everything right. To which I responded with the death by PowerPoint showing the wonderful job they did covering important topics. Haven't had a response
