IPEB hasnt sent unfit to the VA

Good morning yall,
Hoping someone could offer me insight on what tree i need to shake to keep the process moving forward. My case timeline for the IPEB is below:
Nov 18 2024: IPEB submitted, MyFSS email received
Nov 22 2024: IPEB found unfit (per what My peblo can see)
Dec 30th 2024: called the VA to see if there's any guess on when I might hear everything back, they said they are just waiting on the IPEBs fit/unfit decision

I've tried to give Jeff a call but don't exactly want to blow up his phone as I'm AF and from what I understand he's navy PEB, but I want to see if there's any way I can get the process moving again. Any help would be much appreciated!

Also, I am staying away from calling VERA or anything that would tell me the status, I much rather just be fully in the dark rather than knowing I am an inch closer especially for my Mental Health.

Yep. Currently in a one deep position with no replacement lined up, won't be allowed to stop working unless my condition puts me back in a hospital or I get my VA rating and sign my 1168.
Yeah, I feel that lol. Do you know if your DOS is like ASAP or is same process.

ETS and DOS were originally the first week of March, but my PEBLO had me file an extension because I hadn't heard anything back by the middle of January, so they pushed everything back 6 months. Once I get my orders that will change again to account for PTDY and terminal.

Good idea, one of my MEB conditions is OCD, you can see how that's working out for me. I'm crawling up the walls from impatience.

My anxiety is fucking killing me with this lol. Not sure what works best for you but my psychiatrist put me on some anti-psycotics that help me at least sleep a little and stay mostly calm.

Yeah, I will just spiral if I see it's with a rater or something along the lines of that, trying my best to not let this process eat me up but so hard at the same time because I am just stagnant like y'all said.

I took some leave at the end of December that really helped me not completely spiral. I think being out of the uniform and away from the unit helps, not sure what your plans for the future or your terminal is but even getting away somewhere for a week can stop or slow the spiral.

Oh definitely I've been keeping myself at 30 days of leave but anytime I get 5 over I slap in leave. I keep 30 because I notice for all the air force timelines the DOS comes pretty rapid and I just want to hit terminal and go.

Update with my case. VA finished my proposal and are writing up the decision letter now, should be within next few days.

13 or 14, but 3 of them probably didn't get rated, based on my review of the DBQs.
Ah okay. I wonder if that's why mine is taking so long, I had about 36. Your post gave me hope the VA was also finishing up with mine but no dice. Hopefully that means you can get your orders cut and hit the road soon!

Oh yeah, the amount of contentions definitely plays a part. But probably by several days. Shouldn't be much longer for you either.

Random question: Can we final out/outprocess in civilian clothes? I got a real good mullet and goatee going on and I'd hate to get rid off both for just one day.
