No, I’m in the waiting game now. Legal said it’s taking 2-3 months to hear back from PEB. Back issues.

I was told the same thing here in JBER (10-12 weeks). Took 3 weeks to get my ratings. Also back issues. Hopefully yours is quick as well.

Like you all know. I have 6 election days. However, two of those days are gone cause of the federal holiday and everyone has a 4-day(June19). I don’t have a problem with the outcome. 60% DOD/100% VA. To my surprise, they deemed my injury as “combat related”. If you’re seeing this and have gone through this part. Would you recommend that I get with legal? Part of me just wants to sign and send it up, but I don’t want to miss out on something. Keep pushing homies!

Good to hear your case moved fairly fast. I'm on the same boat as you in JBLM, my packet was sent to PEB in 04JUN so hopefully I get my results soon.

I would personally meet with legal just to make sure everything is good, regardless of the outcome. One thing I learned in the Army is to cover my own a** because you are the only one that's going to care, things can always change later down the road, so I would make sure everything is set in stone in case I have to dispute changes; you never know what's going to happen. If you are 100% happy and just want to move on, why not? At the end of the day, it's your decision.

I appreciate it. I talked about it with another friend as well. I am going to see if they can squeeze me in on Monday. Hopefully you do. I think our NLT dates might be around the same time. It looks like most people have got a NLT date around 80 days.

Congratulations man! That’s huge! My MSC said if you can see the Chapter 35 benefit on your letter you are P&T. The pace is gonna be quick. My installation is handing out orders within 7 days after requesting a retirement date. Good luck with your clearing process!

It doesn't say chapter 35 but it does say basic eligibility for dependents educational assistance is proposed as the evidence shows you are permanent and total due to your combined service connected disabilities... Which I believe is the same thing..

Ya I'm ready, give me those orders..I already spoke with my brigade leadership and they are ok with doing an exception to policy for going over the 90 days due to 81 days of leave and 20 days PTDY plus clearing time..

Nice congrats! Not sure if it's the same or not but at Schofield the early turn in memo is just one you get your commander to sign and you have to have your availability date within 30 days. I just made up a random day and had my commander sign it and turned my stuff in back in January..so maybe if you fudge the days you can do it early. If your commander is cool that is.

I concurred my Narsum almost three weeks ago, the VA site still says no claims submitted. How long did any of yall wait for that to be updated after concurring your Narsum?
