JBSA MEB/IDES TIMELINE

Im in central time, yeah it was weird I got them at 5pm so maybe they work a little late or they take some time to actually process in the system
interesting. Did it show on PRDA, did you get an email? Sorry just trying to figure out exactly what it looked like.

On a second note, now that you have orders do you have to go on vmpf and apply for sep/retire and submit leave?

I got an email on my personal account from VTA IDES telling me that I need to schedule a final meeting with my MSC, that's what tipped me off that maybe my orders were ready. Then I just logged into PRDA and found them under the orders section. I don't need to apply for anything on VMpf but I did go to CSS today and let them know that I received my orders and then they pushed through my out processing checklist (found in VMpf) and we set up my final out with them which will be 30 Dec (2 days before your PTDY/Terminal starts) and then I will have my final out with MPS on 31 Dec. There doesn't seem to be too too much on the out processing checklist, as long as you've already done TAPs it shouldn't take to long.

Yea ive done taps in August , and even the MSC exit interview the week i got my findings. I check prda and my email every 5 seconds lol. The biggest thing for me is TMO and how quick they can be at my house.

What happens with the MSC exit interview? My PEBLO just told me about that today and said they should have reached out to me already but haven’t heard nothing. I signed findings and requested orders today.

Youll get an email from VTA about it, took me about a week. Dont stress it its not that important in relation to getting ur orders. u just get told stuff about the VA. and it doesnt stop u from getting orders

I just talked to my PEBLO, and he told me that my case was sent to the VA on December 11, and DRAS shows as completed on 12 December. I hope to receive some updates this week or before the holidays to sign and accept my disposition before the next Government shutdown. I hope to be done on January 2026.

Hey sorry this is so long after, I recieved an automated email from VTA asking me to schedule my exit interview, but I haven’t reiceved my findings yet I’ve been stuck waiting at the last step of the PEB since September and I reached out to my MSC to clarify and she just keeps emailing me back generic statements about “when to expect my first check” and won’t answer what this email means. Is it a signal that my findings are coming? Peblo and attorney won’t answer me either

I am in the Air Force, and processes are a little different, but the same concept should apply. Once your IPEB process is completed, you will receive VA/DoD proposed ratings and the determination. You would not have an exit briefing if the MSC/VA did not have the results. They might be backlogged with cases and just keep giving you generic information, but something must have triggered the notification of your exit briefing, which I think is the end of the MEB and the findings. Your main source and the one you should be pressing hard is your PEBLO, or whatever the NAVY calls it. Your liaison for the IDES/MEB process in the Navy. That person is the direct point of contact to the VA/MSC.
