Just had C & P exam

New to board. So I have a question 2017-2109 I had both hips replaced osteoarthritis. I filed for compensation in 2017 and was denied, because of my lack of understanding in the process. To which last week I just had my C & P exam for both hips from Ves Services. The Doctor was just going through the motions and asked me why I was back again. In the 3 years I found that I was service connected in my left ankle for 10% avulsion fracture ect. I presented a letter from my doctor stating that it was least likely then not that the condition occurred due to the left ankle injury which now has altered gait. The doctor read it and said that this is going to help. After discussing the history ect. She never measured or did any testing? How can someone get rated based on that type of evaluation? Just seemed to be turnstile to me. Now I am just waiting for the rating. Not sure what else to do? I explained I have pain in the place when the bone and prosthesis connect and a popping propably form a tendon when I walk. But she took no measurements, nor did she seem concerned so I dont know how she can get a rating from that?

Ia there is pain at zero degrees of movement? If so, that is what the examiner would report.

No pain at zero degree[assuming you mean when you start].. as i understand a hip replacement get rated at 30,50,70,90.. so pain while sitting and walking amongst other things. i am wondering how she would derive at rating based off of no tests, flexing. Ect. Although i am not a doctor so I have know idea what they are looking for.. she did ask to see the scars which i thougt was odd.

As mentioned above, nothing can or will happen unless a P3 profile is initiated and with that profile it will trigger the MEB process.

Time will tell. Paiful scars can be separately rated. Scar examination is normal.
