Just Started the Process

Hello,

I received my NARSUM two weeks ago and the MEB doctor found me unfiit to return to duty.

In her Medical Retention Determination Point (MRDP) STATEMENT, “the soldier has reached MRDP due to her conditions as she has undergone greater than 12 months of conservative management and her conditions have not improved enough to allow her to return to duty. She is unable to execute basic Warrior tasks and MOS specific duties commensurate with her current rank and grave. Soldier will not be capable of returning to duty within one year”.

In Her prognosis’s statement she stated; “that over the next three to five years without the rigors of military duty, these conditions may improve somewhat but is unlikely, that they would improve to the point that the Soldier could resume full military duty. To say to what extent the conditions may improve would involve resorting to mere speculation”.

My question is, does PEB usually go along with the MEB doctors‘ findings?

Normally the PEB agrees with the NARSUM.
