Hey everyone! I’m going through an MEB right now due to spinal Injuries that occurred on deployment. I was deployed jan-July and had back surgery when I got back from deployment. They sent me home early to gave this procedure done and I started this process in October.
October: met with my PCM
November: found unfit for duty
December: started my claim/completed QTC appointments/etc
January 2020: waiting for the VA to determine my rating.
My question is, roughly, when do you guys think I’ll be separated? As of now, I’m waiting for my rating from the VA and whatever that is, I’ll approve because it’ll be much easier to rely on myself and continue to file when I’m separated rather than relying on people who aren’t doing a good job or being much help.
Any advice? Estimated time?
I’m trying to get home as soon as possible because recovering alone is tough and I’m just drained at this point.
