Non-selection for promotion during MEB/PEB

If I'm given a separation date due to non-promotion will I be separated if my PEB is still pending?

Let me give you my time line.... I'm a Major in the Biomedical Science Corps w/ 11 years in service. I will be facing an MEB in the near future (Spring 2014). In 2015 I will be in the primary zone for Lt Col. I have reason to believe that I will not be selected in the zone or above the zone. In 2016 I will have had only 14 years in so I don't expect to be retained. My mandatory separation date will be determined then. I doubt that it take that long but I'm wondering what the time limiting factor is. I'm trying to plan for my husband's BA and MBA degrees.

If your MEB is due to be started this spring, I don't think you are going to get close to being looked at in 2015. I am not really sure what your question is? Depending on the MEB conditions, I would make a pretty solid guess that you will be out, or close to out by the end of 2014.
