I spoke with the VA today asking about the status of my claim and they stated they are waiting on the PEB to find me fit or unfit before they are able to finalize and propose a rating. Does this sound right to you all? Does anyone know an approximate timeline as to when the PEB will contact the VA? My case has been with the VA DRAS since 9/4.

Not sure what’s going on, call Jeff at the pen office he’ll be able to tell you exactly where your case is I believe if you’re navy or marine only (571) 442-0592
Also my case was with DRAS since aug 19 but didn’t make any movement until they assigned a rating board to me sept 9 th. I’m still awaiting on a VA % hope this helps somehow

I used the wrong term, I've been at the 3 person (O-5/O-6) board for nearly 2 months, not the D-RAS.So, I'm in a similar boat. I thought there was a 14 day requirement for voting, but I've been at the DRAS since 9/26 and as of 11/20, 2 of 3 members had voted per Jeff, so nearly 2 months waiting for the fit or unfit determination.
