Hello everyone! I just got my NARSUM and ROM done on Friday, Feb 19. I need some help understanding. My Flexion looks like 20% but my Extension and L & R lateral look like more than that. Is your ROM the ONLY thing they base your rating on??
My active ROM was:
Flexion: 37.33
Extension: -8.33
L Lateral Flex: 9
R Lateral Flex: 13
My passive ROM was:
Flexion: 36
Extension: -6
L Lateral Flex: 9.33
R Lateral Flex: 12.67
My NARSUM describes my condition as "Spndylolithesis with pars defect and degenerative changes"
The doctor put in there she recommends being discharged because my conditions will not improve and the "physical demands" of the military will only worsen my conditions.
No sure what to do from here. I really dont know what to expect. I had my VA appt in Dec and they didnt measure me AT ALL however, they have a ROM report that is much higher than the actual one I just got done Friday. The VA reported my Flexion as 70 deg and my extension as 35 deg. They also said my Lateral Flex were both 30 deg (the highest) But like I said they never actually measured me. My PEBLO said they probably just looked at me and examined me like that. I called my VA rep and she said I would have to wait for my results to appeal. Not sure what to do from here.
Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks in advance guys!
