I am one of those people who had only one UNFITING condition listed so I guess thats why I got my ratings back already

I have 7 conditions and only one being unfitting. So I thought mine would go through pretty quickly.

I had only 3 unfit and 7 total. I checked ebennies, it updated that I have turned in poa. Sort least that's something.

Yeah, mine updated with the same thing. Thats the first update to my page since I created it.

Ya

So I got a call today from my DAV representative.... From what she said she sees in her system, she says the system is showing me as "awaiting an exam" which is also what my ebenefits says. But the VA 1-800 # and my MSC has verified a couple times to me that they are not awaiting any exams and its just out-dated information in the system.... so who knows whats going on. My DAV Rep said she was going to send am email today to VA to see exactly what was going on. But this is the kicker... My DAV rep also told me the reason all the cases are recently so backed up is because the VA regionals office building roof collapsed last month. Like, LITERALLY COLLAPSED. So they had to collect and move everything over to a different building and she said things are in almost chaos fashion there now trying to get everything straight. So who knows what is going on now. Kinda scary.

Same here. Said they are waiting exams. But called and said they had everything they need.

Thats what the 1800 guy told me as well. "Initial review pending EXM" He later changed his story and told me it could stand for something else besides exam. But as we all know they really can only see what some other overworked guy put in there and try to interperate it.

Well what scares me about this is anytime you move around that much stuff, some stuff is bound to get shuffled around and lost.

Yep

January 11 2013, my unfit letter was sent to VA
21 March 2013 my ebenefits status changed to notice sent in the Historical Claims section.
Waiting for that phone call from PEBLO now.

That's awesome news man. Always gratifying to get news like that. My ebenefits updated yesterday to "requested separation documents". Hopefully for me that means I have a 199 and phone call coming. I wish they had an SOP for
Updating that site. Seems to be user preference.

Alot of movement these last couple of weeks so we might be up and out of here pretty soon. That's good to hear I am not the only case making progress. I know some of these guys have been waiting for a good while. That is a strange update....'requested seperation documents'. Your PEBLO must be making some moves and doing some work for you.

I thought it was weird too.. But apparently a few people on here have said there's updated to that when their ratings went to the PEB. Cause after you seperate, VA need your separation documents to finish your claim. But we shall see. As nice as my PEBLO is, she hasn't really done anything besides give updates. My DAV rep was the most helpful.

My MSC verified to me just now that my ratings were in fact sent to the PEB yesterday... Just waiting on the 199 now.

Received proposed ratings. DOD 50% VA 70% Just waiting on 199 now.

Received 199 today from PEBLO. 50% DOD and 70% TDRL. Gave it the look over, some things caught my eyes as maybe disputable. But I have an appointment on Monday with legal. I'll wait and see what they say.

Met with legal. He said as far as the ratings I got they looked accurate and I should be grateful. He said I might want to consider doing a formal to adjust the "TDRL" to "PDRL". But he said it would be a few more months of waiting and a crap shoot with not favorable odds of being changed. So I signed my 199 today and it was sent back to the PEB for review. Should here from transition within the next few days.

My husband is in PEB here at Tripler. Christina is the Pueblo. PEB sent to VA on Oct 17, 2013. We were told 2 to 4 months for ratings.
@Biohazard....My husband has a lot of the same problems you have. Why such low ratings? I thought PTSD is 50%? He has that same back issue and sleep apnea with CPAP also. Found him unfit for 4 things his back, PTSD, depression, and partial foot loss from a surgery gone bad. He sent in like 26 other things to the vA for ratings. Tell me what they gave you for those same conditions please.
Also do you guys know if DFAS will pay us back if we move ourselves home? Dang transportation office said no. We think they have deal with locals to make it so the moving companies make money and not the soldiers. I question what they are saying though. Thanks!

Stryker,
These are what I got for ratings that are the same as your husbands:
20% - Back - herniated disc
20% - Back - radiculopathy (numbness down my leg from the herniated disc)
30% - PTSD (percentage because it affects my daily life but it is not severe. most people will get 50% and get re-evaluated thru VA after 5 years.)

From what it sounds like, you are waiting to get your proposed ratings back from the VA. You will get two separate percentages. The DoD percentage is for the conditions that are unfit. The VA percentage is for all conditions together using their funky math. After all PEB actions are done and your husband is separated, you will still have to wait another 3 to 6 months(depending on what their backlog is up to) to get your official ratings and start receiving disability pay. Best of luck!
