Seattle Regional VA Timelines:

quick question. Does anyone know if AGR Soldiers get rated at Providence or Seattle? There is another SM who is in my BDE going through the process. i was a week ahead of them in the process. I just found out that their VA packet is at a rater and mine is still not assigned to a rater.

If you are Army Title 10, it should be Seattle

MEB group? If that is just other guys whose packets went up around the same time that's not a good way to tell. There are teams of raters that take the last two digits of you social and then it goes to that team or person. These are called the terminal digits.
Negative! Terminal digits are the last two numbers of your claim number

I was just told through the VA 1-800 # that Seattle is taking up to 15 months to process claims. Has anyone else heard anything close to this?
15 months is the wait time for veteran claims not IDES claims, the timeline you get when contacting the 1800 number is a generic answer that they give everyone, that's why it's best to keep in contact with either your MSC or get in contact for a VSO, also unless your near the average of 120 days or so contacting the 1800 numbers is just causing stress to you when they give you the same answer they gave to the 100+ that has call before you

Just got my No Later Then Date, I'm out 20 July. Just waiting on orders.
50% TDRL VA 100%

Indeed, congratulations and enjoy! :D

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer."

Best Wishes!

Well the day has finally come......

DA Form 199 Presented, agreed with, and signed. 70% DoD all combat related. 90% VA.

Thank you to all who have provided their advice, knowledge, and patience to me through this process. Oddly, this is my 23 anniversary of Army service. Interesting omen.

Thank you again,

Outstanding news! Congratulations and enjoy life again! Take care! :D

E-Bennies change to Gathering of Evidence: Requested separation documents. 110 days in the rating process and confirmed with my PEBLO that my packet is at the PEB getting prep for notification via DA199. DRAS SEATTLE.

Just received my 199 today %30 DOD, %90 VA, permanent retirement. My status on e benefits went to review of evidence from preparation for decision after 125 days of rating wait timeline on 04/21/2014 and today 04/30/2014 I received my 199 and signing it tomorrow then wait for orders and go back to HOME! Thank you everybody. I will post a timeline tomorrow from AKO. FYI my ebenefits and AKO updates were pretty decent ( 3-4 days mistake) in timely manner

All right, congratulations for placement onto the military PDRL with DoD and DoVA proposed ratings; good deal for sure! :)

Take care and enjoy all of your post military endeavors to include having a glorious time as a military medical retiree and veteran! :D

I got 199 today. 90% DOD / 100% VA. PEBLO said that I should have orders by the end of the week.
Was given the name and number of the lady that will cut my orders so, will be stopping by her office monday morning.

I have been in the MEB process a total of 404 days so far. ALMOST DONE! Now I am a little nervous. Everything is going to be fast!

I was told that there will be a reevaluation on my hip and mental. So hoping that I will continue to get 100% after those appointments in a year. I guess the fight never really ends even when you get out! That SUCKS!

Indeed, congratulations on the receipt of your IPEB findings inclusive of DoD and DoVA proposed ratings! :D

Yeah, I agree; just had my initial experience with VA healthcare (e.g., VAMC emergency room services, VAMC BH inpatient services, and assignment of a VAMC BH PCP all within three weeks of offically being designated as a military disabled veteran! :(

As such, if applicable, life is a constant and daily struggle albeit always "ask" for assistance so that it shall definitely continue...;) Take care!

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer."

Just signed my 199, 0% Army, 50% VA
Unfitting Condition - Vasovagal Syncope

Indeed, congratulations! :)

Hmm, what was the VASRD code for Vasovagal Syncope as listed on your DoVA documentation?

How long has it been taking to receive DA199 as of lately for those who recently received theirs?

How long has it been taking to receive DA199 as of lately for those who recently received theirs?

My proposed ratings were done on the 19th the DA199 was complete the 28th but PEBLO didn't inform me until the 5th or 6th. So about 7-10 days.

Ok I guess you know all. Heaven forbid they also call the last two in your social as terminal digits. We know the government would never use the same nomenclature for more than one thing.

Why do I have to be a know all? When I saw your post I was curious about this myself, since I'm a patient here at a VAMC I went down to the DAV and talked to a VSO who is a retired rater and he said that terminal digits are the last two of the claim number

Hello I wanted to know did the process change for submitting your paperwork to DFAS to get the taxes from severance back. I got out in October and just received my award letter in the mail.

Siestasundance- do you think that Reserve and NG wait longer for their ratings?

V/r
Green

Yes by far, I'm Reserve and rated 90% prior to my 2nd meb and many of us already had ratings prior to hitting the meb/peb process which I think kinda hangs things up.

it is unfortunate, you would think that it would be so easy, with rating already complete. i have a SM that has been in the process for almost a year, her packet has been at the VA for over 210 days.

i hope that is not my case, 40 days and counting.
