So my MSC called me and the Secretary of the VA is comming to my base and I was asked if I wanted to participate in a round table discussion with him since I'm going through the IDES. I accepted and will be doing it next week.

Is there anything you guys here want me to ask or tell him?

Is there going to be better services for people coming soon, IE, making the decision process shorter. Especially for those with mental claims. Seems that people are more suicidal because of the wait time. I know it’s real problem with my brothers and sisters

One of the reoccurring themes is being in the dark. Could the VA send a series of emails to people in their processes?

Examples
1. You have a meetings with the MSC next week. The MSC will help you file your claim.
2. Your claim has been entered in the VA system. A contractor should schedule you for a medical exam NLT X. Please reply if this date passes without your hearing from our contractor.
3. The contractor has meet with you, we should receive the medical exam by X, if we don’t you will be updated.
4. We have received received you medical exams. It will take us X days to assign ratings.
5. Ratings have been assigned and your case has been sent qualify control to ensure accuracy.
6. Your package has passed a quality check and sent to your service. A copy of your proposed ratings are attached. Your service will determine if none, some, or all of your contentions are unfitting. If you are found unfit please reply to this email and attach a copy of your DD214 or equivalent.

I'm sorry to say that I actually will not be able to attend the event with the Secretary. I have a person scheduling conflict. Apologies, I was looking forward to it and being able to share here
