If I do Skillbridge when I’m in IDES, when would it end, once I hear from the BA gods and get my ratings?

Skillbridge while in IDES

If you are in the IDES (Integrated Disability Evaluation System) and participate in the Skillbridge program, the length of the program will depend on the specific details of your situation, including the length of your disability evaluation and the requirements of the Skillbridge program. It is recommended that you discuss your situation with your IDES case manager and the Skillbridge program coordinator to determine the appropriate length of the program for your specific circumstances. Once you have completed the Skillbridge program, the outcome of your disability evaluation will determine your next steps.
Skill bridge and CSP (career skills program) are nearly the same thing, as I’ve been told by my taps counselor.
It was explained to me that while in IDES you can participate in multiple CSP programs if your Command signs off on it.
However, as soon as your 199 comes back you will have to begin transitioning out of service.
If you’re in a good program they may continue having you in an internship capacity, but you will no longer be receiving pay.
The best situation would be that you get your ratings and 199 as soon as possible, ets, and get hired at that company or program.
I started a great CSP program that lasted 95 days and I thought there was no way that I would still be in by now, but here we are. That 95 days was essential for preparing my family for transition, during that time I also turned in CIF. I also got to network and find a promising job.
